Mikaeli Kammarkör (Mikaeli Chamber Choir) 米凯利室内合唱团

Mikaeli Kammarkör (Mikaeli Chamber Choir) is a mixed choir, founded in 1970 by Anders Eby, who is the conductor and artistic leader of the ensemble to this day. The choir is a part of the musical society of Adolf Fredrik's Church in Stockholm, Sweden. It boasts a broad repertoire, spanning both sacred and profane, a cappella and orchestral, from the oldest to the contemporary, with a slight emphasis on challenging a cappella material from the 20th century onward. The choir often does radio performances and has toured extensively, mostly in Europe. It has done numerous first performances of works by contemporary Swedish composers. In 1986, the choir was awarded the Swedish Gramophone Prize for its recording of Mass for double choir by Frank Martin and Requiem by Ildebrando Pizzetti.
